Witherspoon St. Improvement Project Phase III Community Meeting

On Saturday, April 1st, the conceptual design of the third phase of the Witherspoon Street Improvements Project will be presented at the Witherspoon-Jackson Neighborhood meeting, which begins at 9:30 am at The Arts Council of Princeton, 102 Witherspoon Street. Representatives from the Engineering Department and the design consultant will present the proposed improvements and be available to answer questions and take feedback from the public. Everyone is invited to attend and help us make Witherspoon Street safer and friendlier for all users.

Friends of Princeton Open Space Spring Clean-Up - 2 Sessions

Join Friends of Princeton Open Space for a Spring Clean-Up on Saturday, April 1st! During this session, we will revisit the 18-acre Forest Restoration site and make a sweep for invasive plant outbreaks. Target species for removal include wineberry, Japanese honeysuckle vine, multiflora rose, and garlic mustard. This interactive event features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids ages 0-8, accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. No registration required. Free and open to all.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune's

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. Set in our wine orchard among 100-year-old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy the fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No reservations are needed. No outside food or pets, please. Groups maximum of 8.

The program features: Claire Davison’s Time Within A Time, set to the music of Fleetwood Mac; Ja’ Malik’s Moving to Bach, set to Bach’s Sonata for Violin Solo No.1; and Caili Quan’s Circadia, inspired by an eclectic music mix ranging from Boban Markovic Orchestra to Gabriella Smith’s Carrot Revolution.
