Vietnam War Veterans Day Celebration

Mercer County will be hosting a Vietnam War Veterans Day celebration on Tuesday, March 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mercer County Office Park Gym, located at 1440 Parkside Ave, Ewing. Mercer County is also asking Veterans or their family members to submit photographs to be included in a slide show to be displayed on the Mercer County Veteran Services page. Submit photos via email to MCVeteranServices@mercercounty.org or drop them off at: Mercer County Veteran Services, 1440 Parkside Ave, Ewing Mercer County Connections, 957 Highway 33, Hamilton Submit photos by March 13, 2023.

Spring Lecture Series, Old Barracks Museum

The Old Barracks invites you to attend our newly revived Spring Lecture Series. Come and spend an evening with highly respected, local historians and authors who will share some of the exciting history that helped shape our state and our nation.

Wednesday, March 29th 6-8pm  - Robert W. Sands Jr & Patricia E. Millen "Washington Crossing"

Robert Sands and Patricia Millen will discuss their book which explores the history of the site of General George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River with his Continental Army in 1776 to the Battle of Trenton.

Lectures begin at 6pm and will be followed by a Q&A and book signing. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available. Copies of these titles are available for purchase in-store or at www.barracks.org. All proceeds go towards supporting the Old Barracks Museum and its mission.

Author Event: Idra Novey in Conversation with Yiyun Li, Labyrinth Books & PPL
