Getting Ready for Spring

We will get ready to wake up from winter and prepare to start gardening. As St. Patrick’s Day is the traditional day to plant peas and spinach and get the garden ready, we will start our gardens too! Our reading is a selection from “Frog and Toad Are Friends.” Each child will plant seeds to take home.

Seed Exchange & Children's Plant People Craft - Hopewell Public Library

Calling all gardeners! The HPL is hosting a seed giveaway and a children's craft in front of the Library on Saturday, March 25th. Gardeners are welcome to bring their own seeds to exchange or select seeds they would like from our seed giveaway table. Children are invited to join us to create a "plant person." Registration is required for the children's craft, but not for the seed exchange. Register for a 30 minute time slot in person or by filling out this form at redlibrary.org/events!

Every Saturday at 10am, enjoy a morning of story and song with Jeff Trainor of JaZams! Storytime with Jeff is a half-hour event that welcomes families to sing, dance, read, and enjoy some free fun. Jeff is an accomplished musician and actor with a growing fanbase among the Princeton toddler community (and their parents as well!) This interactive event features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids ages 0-8, accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. No registration required. Free and open to all.

Bryn Mawr-Wellesley Book Sale, Stuart Country Day School

Don't Miss the Largest and Oldest Book Sale in the Region

Founded 91 years ago, the Bryn Mawr-Wellesley Book Sale is a nonprofit organization that sells donated books to provide college scholarships for area students. This year the sale will be held at Stuart Country Day School, 1200 Stuart Road, on March 22-26.

Weds, March 22 – 10 am – 5 pm – Entrance tickets are $30. All other days are free.

Thurs, March 23 -- 10 am – 8 pm

Fri, March 24 – 10 am – 5 pm

Sat, March 25 – 10 am – 5 pm

Sun, March 26 – Box Day ($5 or $10 per box depending on size) – 10 am - noon Collector's Corner rare book room closed.

2023 HiTOPS Trans Youth Forum

We’re thrilled to announce that the 9th Annual HiTOPS Trans Youth Forum is on Saturday, March 25th. This day-long celebration created BY and FOR trans and nonbinary youth will be held virtually and is FREE to all participants.

Join us and help us spread the word! We anticipate the forum will be attended by hundreds of young people, their families, and the professionals who support them.

The 2023 Forum includes nationally celebrated speakers, video highlights of trans and nonbinary youth, and a raffle all planned by our Trans Youth Advisory Board.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune's

Camp Tours, Appel Farm Arts Camp

Disney's High School Musical Jr., Kelsey Theatre

We're all in this together in Disney Channel's smash hit musical phenomenon featuring the students of East High. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra-curricular activities. This show features a cast of young actors and has been shortened to run 60 minutes. The show’s iconic upbeat musical numbers are still here and are infectiously fun and engaging for both young and old alike.
