Information session for prospective volunteers. CASA for Children is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers who speak up in Family Court for the best interests of Mercer County children that have been removed from their families due to abuse and/or neglect and placed in the foster care system.

In this second program of the 2023 Grand Homes & Gardens series, journey through the life and grand home of pioneering twentieth century African American beauty entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker. The presentation will include a book signing with our speaker - Walker’s great grand-daughter and author of On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker, A’Lelia Bundles.
