The 55-Plus Club of Princeton will meet via Zoom at 10 a.m., Thursday January 19, 2023. David Stasavage, Dean for the Social Sciences at New York University, and the Julius Silver Professor in NYU's Department of Politics, with affiliations in NYC's School of Law and Dept. of History, will speak on "Sustaining Democracy: When and Why it Survives and Prospers. Covid has had a major impact on the way we purchase food and our eating patterns in general. There were an unimaginable number of supply chain issues, restaurant revamps and lifestyle changes impacting food and nutrition since March 2020. Food trends have evolved in ways that no one could have predicted. Join McCaffrey's Registered Dietitian Jill Kwasny for a free and informative nutrition program: "Food Trends for the New Year: What 2023 Brings to the Table." There is no doubt 2023 will focus on innovation and consumer preferences towards convenience, flavor, sustainability, and health. Be the first to get the heads up on what will be on the menu in coming year. As always, Jill will offer menu ideas, cooking techniques and share a delicious recipe to sample.

Art Opening, Princeton Day School

"an explorer, a tracer of lost tribes, a seeker of clues to feelings" exhibit opens at Princeton Day School on January 9, 2023. A planned public reception will take place on January 19 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. featuring work by Carrie Hawks, Gabrielle Tesfaye and Jordan Wong. The exhibit will run from January 9 - March 24, 2023.
