Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 20. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, honey, pies, plants, locally roasted coffee, milk, eggs and more. About 20 farmers and vendors will participate in the market this season.
Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible

Learn the story of one of the most revered landmarks in the United States when HLT welcomes authors Patricia Millen and Robert Sands Jr. to discuss their new book Washington Crossing on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. during HLT’s Farmers’ Market. This illustrated lecture on Washington Crossing will explore the history of the site of General George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River with his Continental Army in 1776 to the Battle of Trenton-- through the creation of both parks that mark its place in memorial.
The talk will last about 45 minutes with time for questions. The authors will have books to sell and autograph for $24 each. The program is free, but reservations are strongly encouraged by emailing dave@hunterdonlandtrust.org. The program will be held in the wagon house of the historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington.

Join a guided walking tour of the campus collections with an Art Museum guide and discover a variety of artworks by modern and contemporary sculptors, from Henry Moore to Maya Lin. Learn about materials and techniques and explore elements of design and balance. We offer one-hour tours of sculptures in two campus neighborhoods: Main Campus and Residential Colleges. All tours are held outdoors, rain or shine, and are stair-free. (Due to weather, tours are not offered December through February.)
