Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 20. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, honey, pies, plants, locally roasted coffee, milk, eggs and more. About 20 farmers and vendors will participate in the market this season.

Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible

Young Patriots Day, Battlefield Society

On Sunday, Sept. 18, the Princeton Battlefield Society invites you and your family to a day of learning and fun at our 2022 Young Patriots Day. Young Patriots Day introduces children and families to the American Revolution and to local history. The event will take place at Princeton Battlefield State Park, and will begin 11:45 AM with a flag raising ceremony and will end at 3:30 PM. The event will feature cannon, musket, and drill demonstrations by the New Jersey Greys reenactors. General George Washington and Ben Franklin to talk about the Revolution and colonial life. Visitors can tour the Princeton Battlefield and the Clarke House and can also join in activities just for kids.
