Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market

Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 20. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, honey, pies, plants, locally roasted coffee, milk, eggs and more. About 20 farmers and vendors will participate in the market this season.

Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible

Princeton Battlefield Tour

Enjoy a walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Nassau Hall, University Chapel and Palmer Square. Hear some of the classic history and lesser-known stories of Princeton’s diverse past.

Tickets are $10. Advance purchase is required. Tour starts in the courtyard of the Princeton Battle Monument (GPS address: 1 Monument Drive). Please note: Space on this tour is limited to 20 participants. The number of available tickets will be listed under “Spaces” below. 9/11 Day of Remembrance: History of the American Flag, Morven Museum & Garden

Join us in the Stockton Education Center to remember and pay tribute to those who lost their lives on this date 21 years ago. This free event will feature a talk on the history of the American flag by flag historian and collector J. Richard Pierce. Pierce will discuss the evolution of the flag from its beginning until present day and speak to the many meanings the flag holds for generations of Americans. His talk will chronicle the growth of our nation through the prism of our national flag and recount stories that are part of the flag's history.

Season-Opening Concert, Princeton Symphony Orchestra

The magnificent violinist Anne Akiko Meyers opens the PSO's season September 10-11 with performances of Arturo Márquez’ exciting Fandango violin concerto, written specifically for her. She premiered Fandango in 2021 at the Hollywood Bowl with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and will perform it at Carnegie Hall later this season. Also on the PSO's program are thrilling works by Joaquín Turina, Marcos Fernández, Ruperto Chapí, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Single tickets for these special performances and all other orchestral concerts this season are available now!
