Enjoy morning of paddling & exploration, during a naturalist-led Kayak Tour! Encounter basking turtles, feeding songbirds and even carnivorous plants! Life vest, binoculars and kayak rental fee included. Basic kayak instruction is provided.

Princeton Farmers’ Market

Princeton Farmers’ Market summer market season will take place at the Dinky Train Station parking lot (adjacent to Princeton Wawa) and will run from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Thursdays through November 17. The market will be accepting SNAP/EBT, and thanks to the Good Food Bucks program they will match eligible customers SNAP transactions up to $10 per market day! Dog Days of Summer, Crossing Vineyards & Winery

Are the scorching days of summer getting you down? Head over to the winery with your favorite pooch and beat the heat! Bring some chairs (and a water bowl for your pup) and sit on the lawn under our large shady trees. Terrace seating is also available. Enjoy drink and snack specials and doggie treats to boot! It’s the coolest place to be, fur-real. (Note: We ask that dogs be kept outdoors at all times.)

Reflections on 1781 Princeton: Exploring the Road to Yorktown with Dr. Robert Selig

Join us at Morven Museum & Garden for Reflections on 1781 Princeton: Exploring the Road to Yorktown with Dr. Robert Selig, a special talk scheduled for Thursday, August 25, at 6:30 p.m. This event will kick-off New Jersey's commemoration of George Washington and the comte de Rochambeau's march to Yorktown and the eventual conclusion of the American Revolution. Morven is proud to partner on this effort with the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route New Jersey (W3R-NJ), the William Trent House Museum, the Town of Westfield, and East Jersey Old Town Village.

In-person tickets are $15 General Admission, $10 for Morven Members. Virtual tickets are $10 General Admission, $5 for Morven Members. Doors open for in-person guests at 6:00 p.m. in the Stockton Education Center. A Zoom link will be shared the day of the program for virtual ticket holders. Q&A for both live and virtual attendees follows the lecture.
