Community Science Day at Rogers Refuge
All ages are encouraged to join us at Rogers Refuge on West Drive in Princeton to participate in guided nature walks and collect data to support Princeton's Environmental Resource Inventory. Guided tours of the refuge led by the Friends of Rogers Refuge will leave on the hour from 8-11 a.m. A limited number of the library's Nature Explorer Backpacks that include binoculars, magnifying glasses and more for adults and children will be available for the guided walks. Participants may also bring their own backpack. Data will be collected using the iNaturalist app. Parking is limited; participants are encouraged to walk or bike to the event, wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Water will be provided; reusable water bottles are encouraged.
