Flower Festival, Happy Day Farm

ALL 3 FLOWER FIELDS - ONE WEEKEND ONLY

For the first time ever, we will have all 3 of our flower fields available which include lavender, zinnias & sunflowers. Spend the day wandering through our lavender garden, zinnia & sunflower field! We have multiple photo ops in the field for you to enjoy. Remember to bring your camera and feel free to take as many photos as you like.

July 9th & 10th 8am to 3pm, last ticket sold at 2:30pm sharp Fresh squeezed lemonade and shaved ices available to purchase. Our goats and chickens will also be available for feeding. Paintball gallery will be available.

Blueberry Day, Pennington Farmers Market

On Saturday, July 9, the Pennington Farmers Market (PFM) will be celebrating everything about Blueberries!! Stop by the PFM Welcome Tent to guess the number of blueberries in a jar (the winner gets a PFM gift certificate); toss "blueberries" into a bucket (for kids – don't forget to pick out a prize); buy a bottle of blueberry vinegar; and check out the blueberry-themed products featured by our vendors!

Pennington Farmers Market is on the lawn in front of Rosedale Mills at 101 Route 31 North in Pennington. Open on Saturdays 9am to 1pm from late May to mid-November.

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

Market held rain or shine in the lower Vaughn Lot of the Princeton Junction Train Station - ENTRANCE FROM 877 Alexander Road, free parking. NJ Transit bus 877 or Dinky and ½ mile walk to Vaughn Lot. Visit wwcfm.org or call 609-913-7581.

The WWCFM accepts SNAP/EBT and offers matching incentives towards fruit & vegetable purchases (up to $20 per market day). Tai Chi by the River, Washington Crossing State Park NJ

Join us for Tai Chi with our steadfast volunteers and beloved teachers Lisa and Robert! They'll be leading classes by the River for all levels on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Wear comfy clothes, no mat required.

Find us on River Drive in the lower park, in front of the main parking lot. Classes are free, however donations are deeply appreciated!

Blueberry Bash, Terhune Orchards

History Talk: The First Historian of the Revolutionary War: François-Jean de Chastellux

As part of Trenton’s Liberty Weekend (July 8-10, 2022), the Trent House Association presents a talk by Dr. Iris de Rode on research by the Marquis de Chastellux as the Continental and French armies prepared for their march through New Jersey to the battle of Yorktown in 1781.

This free program will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, at 2 pm in-person at the William Trent House, 15 Market Street (across from the Hughes Justice Center) in Trenton and via Zoom at https://tinyurl.com/THTalkJuly9. Campus Collections Outdoor Walking Tour, Princeton University Art Museum

Princeton University is home to one of the country's most significant collections of twentieth- and twenty-first-century public sculpture. Join a guided walking tour of the campus collections with an Art Museum docent and discover a variety of artworks by modern and contemporary sculptors, from Henry Moore to Louise Nevelson. Learn about materials and techniques and explore elements of design and balance.

Tours meet at 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through June 26, except May 21–22. These one-hour tours are held outdoors, rain or shine, and are stair-free.
