Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 8 AM on Saturday June 18 for a free, guided birding trip led by Sharyn Magee at Mercer Meadows Pole Farm, formerly the AT&T Overseas Transmission Station. This preserved and managed area of woods, fields and meadows provides great opportunities to see grassland birds and butterflies.

National Learn to Row Day, Caspersen Rowing Center

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

Tai Chi by the River, Washington Crossing State Park NJ

Princeton University Architecture Tour (Part 1), Historical Society of Princeton

This popular two-mile walk explores the phenomenal architecture on campus, dating from 1756 to the present. Buildings include the Georgian-style Nassau Hall, collegiate gothic marvels, and extraordinary contemporary designs, including the Frank Gehry-designed Lewis Library, the Stadium, the Icahn Laboratory, and the brand-new Princeton Neuroscience Institute/Psychology facility.

The tour will be presented in two 90-minute parts on consecutive Saturdays. Each part includes both historic and contemporary buildings, but will cover different sites. For the complete tour, register for both dates, June 18 and 25. (Participants are welcome to sign up for just one date.)
