Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 8:15 AM on Saturday May 21 for a free, guided birding trip led by Mark Manning and Brad Merritt at Whitebog, and Audubon-designed Important Bird Area. The group will be on the lookout for some of the 200species of birds recorded, as well as the carnivorous plants, beautiful wildflowers and special reptiles and amphibians that live in this Pinelands location. West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

Stony Brook Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton

Updike Farmstead, 354 Quaker Road, Princeton

Before there was a “Princeton,” six Quaker families established a community on the fertile ground along Stony Brook. This 2-mile hike explores the lives of the early settlers and the community they established, while following a portion of the trail George Washington took from Trenton to the Princeton Battlefield. Stops include the Stony Brook Meeting House and Burial Ground, walking a portion of the “hidden” back road into Princeton, and a view of the Battlefield.

Starts at the Updike Farmstead, 354 Quaker Road. Tickets are $10. Advanced tickets required – no walk ups will be allowed.

Space is limited, and masks required for indoor portions of the tour. If participants have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of the tour, we ask that they stay home and contact us for a full refund.

7th Annual Nassau Film Festival

The 7th Annual Nassau Film Festival will be held on May 21 – 22 at the Princeton Garden Theater and online from May 23 – June 8. The Nassau Film Festival is currently ranked in the top 40 comprehensive film festivals in the world. Throughout the festival, attendees will be screening over 60 short films in the categories of fiction, documentary, animation, horror, music video, trailers, episodic and student films from local, national and international filmmakers.

The ArtWalk is a great way to have fun while engaging your mind and your body in healthy, happy activities!
