All ages are welcome as we plant potatoes and help with other projects on the nature trail and herb and children's gardens. Children can meet barnyard animals and enjoy our playgrounds as well!
Take a farm tour, learn about the life of bees, composting and more! Invite your family, congregation, or youth group. Come at 9am and stay as long as you can! Bring a picnic lunch and stay awhile afterwards. The Farm Market will also be open with fresh eggs, honey, and more.

Help tidy up shared roadsides, neighborhoods, and public lands. Cleanup of Laurel Avenue and vicinity of Rockingham Historic Site, from just above the village of Kingston up to Route 518. KGA provides grabbers, gloves, orange vests, and garbage bags. Wear sturdy boots.
Afternoon session - 2 to 4 PM: Trash collection in the Mapleton Preserve, Cook Natural Area, and in areas adjacent to Mapleton Road, Division Street, Heathcote Road, Ridge Road, Greenwood Avenue, and Railroad Avenue. Parking for the event is along Railroad Avenue off Ridge Road.

The Lawrence Hopewell Trail will host a combined walk and bicycle ride on Saturday, April 23, in recognition of "Celebrate Trails Day," an annual spring celebration of America's trails. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. at the ETS parking lot on Assessment Road south of Messick Hall, near the trail kiosk. Leading the walkers on a two-mile walk will be LHT Trustees Becky Taylor and Leslie Floyd, while Trustee Ruth Markoe will lead cyclists on an eight-mile ride.
"Celebrate Trails Day" was started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013. The celebration encourages people across the country to get outside and enjoy the nation's exceptional trails and trail systems.

Join the Historical Society of West Windsor and the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance on April 23 for guided history tours of the Trolley Line Trail! Three tours are offered - 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM, departing from West Windsor Community Park Pavilion. The 10 AM tour includes a ribbon cutting of a recently-constructed trail extension. All tours will explore the story of the trolley line and other West Windsor history topics.

The Princeton Wheels Rodeo is sponsored by the Princeton Police Department and the Princeton Human Services Commission. It is an opportunity for children to learn the rules of the road and how to be a safe cyclist. Safe practices by cyclists are necessary to safely use public and private roads. At the rodeo, participants will navigate a marked course, learn the proper way to wear your helmet, learn hand signals and how to safely cross the street with your bike. Other activities include bicycle registration and inspections, face painting, hot dogs, burgers and bottles of water will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Two brand new bicycles will be raffled off along with other prizes! It all happens on Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., at the Community Park Pool parking lot located at 400 Witherspoon Street. Click here for more information.
