Gillett G. Griffin was an art curator, collector, writer, artist and teacher, who for more than a half a century lived and worked in Princeton; he was also a personal friend of physicist Albert Einstein. Prior to his death in 2016, Griffin, curator emeritus of Pre-Columbian and Native American art at the Princeton University Art Museum, made a significant gift to the Historical Society of Princeton of more than 50 pieces of material related to Einstein.

The artwork will provide the inspiration for a live portrait drawing session, led by teaching artist Barbara DiLorenzo.
