Before there was a "Princeton," six Quaker families established a community on the fertile ground along Stony Brook. This 2-mile hike explores the lives of the early settlers and the community they established, while following a portion of the trail George Washington took from Trenton to the Princeton Battlefield. Stops include the Stony Brook Meeting House and Burial Ground, walking a portion of the "hidden" back road into Princeton, and a view of the Battlefield. Register. $10. Masks required for indoor portions of tour.

The villainous Barnaby has fallen in love with sweet Mistress Mary Quite Contrary. If he can’t buy her love, then he’ll force her to marry him by threatening to foreclose on her mother, the poor Widow Piper. Mary already has her heart set on marrying Barnaby’s nephew Alan — but Barnaby hasn’t given up, and he herds the whole gang of Mother Goose Land characters to Toyland in pursuit of Mary. There, we encounter the magical mystery of Toyland as we meet the Master Toymaker and his quirky assistants Grumio and Marmaduke.

The Witherspoon-Jackson Historical and Cultural Society (WJHCS) has announced the unveiling of the 29 Heritage Tour plaques in the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood, Princeton’s 20th Historic District, next month. The public is invited to join a special walking tour on Saturday, December 11, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. The tour will begin at the Arts Council of Princeton and end with a reception at Studio Hillier located at 190 Witherspoon Street.

American Repertory Ballet (ARB), under the leadership of Artistic Director Ethan Stiefel, returns to the State Theatre to perform the beloved classic Nutcracker with Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, stunning sets, thrilling choreography, and a live orchestra.
