Liz Cutler discusses her exhibit of pressed flower art in this virtual presentation. The exhibit, "Looking Micro, Seeing Macro," is on display in the second floor Reading Room through Jan. 3. Cutler, a local teacher and environmentalist, discusses her process in this virtual art talk with slides.
Cutler started collecting, pressing and arranging flowers and leaves during walks near her home (through the local woods, meadows, neighborhoods, and her kind friends’ gardens) throughout the pandemic and her son’s very serious illness. These pieces became her "meditation."
