In Person Shadow Day, Villa Victoria Academy

Thinking about making a change for this year or next year? Middle school and high school in-person classes are offered to those girls wanting to be a Villa girl for the day and learn more about our program. Visitors will spend the day with a Villa ambassador in the appropriate grade. Parents tours are also available that day.

The Vegetarian Diet, Wellness Wednesdays Presents

Join Het Desai-Shah, Ph.D. candidate in Nutritional Sciences as she discusses the benefits of vegetarian diets. The effects of vegetarian diets far exceed the well-known nutritional benefits on one’s health. Research shows that eating a more plant-based diet can also lower carbon footprint and global warming. The aim of this session is to discuss why and how we can eat more plant-based foods.

Kiwanis Club of Trenton Meeting with Mayor Gusciora

The public is invited to join the Kiwanis Club of Trenton as it welcomes the Hon. W. Reed Gusciora, 52nd Mayor of Trenton, to hear his thoughts on the City, its future and how we can help to build a better community. Kiwanis will host the Mayor as the keynote speaker at the club's 103rd installation of officers on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Leonardo's II Restaurant, 2021 Brunswick Pike, Lawrence, NJ 08648.

The dinner price of $20 includes beverages and an entrée of Executive Chef Justin Foushee's signature pasta with salad and house wine, as well as a donation to the Kiwanis Club of Trenton Charitable Foundation. Author Talk: Alan Maimon, Labyrinth and Princeton Public Library

The author and investigative reporter is joined in conversation about his book "Twilight in Hazard – An Appalachian Reckoning" by Joe Stephens, director of Princeton Univ.'s Program in Journalism. From investigate reporter and Pulitzer Prize finalist Alan Maimon comes the story of how a perfect storm of events has had a devastating impact on life in small town Appalachia and on the soul of a shaken nation. Maimon is joined in discussion by the Director of Princeton University’s Program in Journalism, Joe Stephens.

The Amazing Pumpkin Carve - Drive-Thru

Forty colossal pumpkins will be carved and electrified by area artists and displayed in a twinkling drive-thru. $25 per car. Through October 10.
