Join Sherri Cirignano, MS, RDN, LDN as she discusses Bringing Vegetables to the Table: A Celebration of the Harvest. Studies on a variety of vegetable types show that eating a variety of vegetables are not only good for your nutritionally, but also may provide a decreased risk of hypertension, stroke and cardiovascular disease. Certain vegetables may also promote a decreased risk of certain types of cancer. In addition to a review of health benefits, we will explore ways to prepare and increase your vegetable intake.
