The Princeton September 11, 2001 Memorial Committee will hold a Remembrance Ceremony at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 11. All are invited to honor the memory of those who perished on September 11, 2001, and the strength and courage of the families and friends who continue to mourn their loss 20 years later.

The commemoration will be the first held at the Princeton community's permanent memorial, located outside the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad headquarters at 2 Mt. Lucas Road, near Route 206 and Valley Road. The memorial includes a nine-foot steel beam from the World Trade Center, as well as plaques describing the events of the day and mileage to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the Shanksville, Pa., crash sites. During the ceremony, the names of the Princeton community members who were lost will be read and first responders will be honored.

The Committee ask those planning to attend to please park in the Community Pool lot, located across from the Princeton Fire Department on Witherspoon Street. Handicapped parking will be available across from the Memorial site, at the lower parking lot of the Municipal Building, accessed from Valley Road.
