Join us for a guided tour of The Kate Gorrie Butterfly House to view and learn about local butterfly species. If time and weather allow, we will try catching wild butterflies in the field. Cameras welcome. Butterfly House Tours are held weekly on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-11 p.m.through the summer. Advance registration is required.
The Kate Gorrie Butterfly House is handicap-accessible, free, and open daily from dawn until dusk (mid-June through mid-September) except during a scheduled program or tour.

Fun family-oriented program to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote. Activities include short suffrage mini-play and victory speeches, refreshments and giveaways, children's crafts and activities, and exhibits of suffrage artifacts and photos.
Local author Nancy B. Kennedy (Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment) will rally the crowd. Hopewell Township Town Crier Stanley Saperstein will open the event. ?Co-sponsored by the Hopewell Public Library, the Hopewell Valley Historical Society, and The Hopewell Museum.

Landmark Catering and the Mercer County Park Commission will be holding Happy Hours at the Boathouse on Thursdays, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Join us for specialty food & drink prices, live music, pontoon boat tours for $4 (weather permitting, no alcoholic drinks allowed on the boat) and views of Mercer Lake from the grounds. Food and drinks are CASH ONLY.
The Boathouse at Mercer Lake is located at 334 South Post Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550. Seating in the Boathouse and throughout the grounds will be given on a first-come, first served basis. Happy Hour will end on Thursday, Sept. 2 for the season.
