Opening Day of the West Windsor Community Farmers Market’s eighteenth year begins Saturday, May 1. To keep everyone safe and distanced, the entrance to the market has changed to 877 Alexander Road through the upper Vaughn Lot. The Market will run each and every Saturday, rain or shine from 9am-1pm until Thanksgiving featuring seventeen farms and twenty artisan food makers and a knife sharpener, all from within fifty-miles of West Windsor.
Joining the roster this year are three farms: Moonshot Farms, Snapping Turtle Farm, and SpiceBush Farm along with Catalina Empanadas, Pure Indian Foods, River Horse Brewery, Sourland Mountain Spirits, Tea-For-All. Look for more organic produce, East Asian vegetables, beer, local spirits, and grass-fed ghee. Mask wearing continues to be required by all, and hand sanitizer stations are located throughout.

The 8th Annual Latino Festival of Hightstown-East Windsor will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12-6 PM at Rocky Brook Park, located at 170 Bank Street in Hightstown, New Jersey. The purpose of the festival is to showcase the artistic and cultural traditions of Latinos in New Jersey and to promote intercultural awareness and understanding. RAFFLES - CRAFTS- KIDS GAMES Bring a chair or blanket. The festival will showcase music and dance traditions of diverse Latino communities residing in our region, and will feature educational exhibitions, arts and crafts, and food sales. The event is free and open to the public, ADA accessible and free parking is available on site and at the lot for the Municipal Building. In case of rain, the event will be held on Saturday, August 28 at the same time and location.

Reception for the group art exhibition, "Sutured Resilience," which brings together three female artists, Jennifer Cabral, Kat Cope, and Chanika Svetvilas, who explore trauma, memory, and empowerment. The show invites the public to imagine a reality where strength is found in vulnerability expressed through text, photography, sculpture, drawing, mixed media, installation, video and participatory actions. Together the artists hold space for the community to witness transformation, healing and the search for resolution. Each artist's unique narrative traces their lived experience of trauma to re-envision a healing journey.
