Butterfly House Tours, The Watershed Institute

Join us for a guided tour of The Kate Gorrie Butterfly House to view and learn about local butterfly species. If time and weather allow, we will try catching wild butterflies in the field. Cameras welcome. Butterfly House Tours are held weekly on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-11 p.m.through the summer. Advance registration is required.

The Kate Gorrie Butterfly House is handicap-accessible, free, and open daily from dawn until dusk (mid-June through mid-September) except during a scheduled program or tour.

Happy Hour at the Mercer Park Boathouse

Landmark Catering and the Mercer County Park Commission will be holding Happy Hours at the Boathouse on Thursdays, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Join us for specialty food & drink prices, live music, pontoon boat tours for $4 (weather permitting, no alcoholic drinks allowed on the boat) and views of Mercer Lake from the grounds. Food and drinks are CASH ONLY.

The Boathouse at Mercer Lake is located at 334 South Post Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550. Seating in the Boathouse and throughout the grounds will be given on a first-come, first served basis. Happy Hour will end on Thursday, Sept. 2 for the season.

Summer Nights Series: Disco Dance Party + “The High Note” Movie

Our Summer Nights Series heats up with a Disco Dance Party and special viewing of THE HIGH NOTE movie outdoors in our beautiful courtyard. Disco Dance Party with DJ Darius the 1st begins at 6:30pm; movie begins at approximately 8:15pm. Dress in your best Disco attire -- think sequins, flare jeans, rhinestone jewelry, vests, platform shoes -- you get the idea!

Bring a lawn chair or blanket. All of our courtyard programming is free and open to everyone. In the event of rain, events will be rescheduled.
