Opening Reception, Summer Showcase of ArtSpace, HomeFront

You’re invited to our Summer Showcase of ArtSpace creative entrepreneurs! See the wonderful variety of artworks, sewn and craft items at the Gallery at the Blue Garage. Starting with an opening reception on July 8 from 4 pm to 8 pm. The summer showcase runs from July 8 -11, 2021, from 10 am to 4 pm. Four short days so plan to join in early!

Visit us at the HomeFront Family Campus at 101 Celia Way, Ewing, NJ (near the Mercer County airport). Now accepting RSVPs for the reception and tours!

Happy Hour at the Mercer Park Boathouse

Landmark Catering and the Mercer County Park Commission will be holding Happy Hours at the Boathouse on Thursdays, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Join us for specialty food & drink prices, live music, pontoon boat tours for $4 (weather permitting, no alcoholic drinks allowed on the boat) and views of Mercer Lake from the grounds. Food and drinks are CASH ONLY.

The Boathouse at Mercer Lake is located at 334 South Post Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550. Seating in the Boathouse and throughout the grounds will be given on a first-come, first served basis. Happy Hour will end on Thursday, Sept. 2 for the season.

Art Making |Watercolors: Focus on Color Theory

The Art Museum is partnering with the Arts Council of Princeton to provide free online watercolor classes. Weekly classes are taught by artist-instructor Barbara DiLorenzo over Zoom. With an emphasis on color mixing and brushwork, each week's lesson will be inspired by works in the Museum's collections. Transitioning from grayscale to color can be a challenge for artists. In this class we will explore color theory, experimenting with combinations of colors that work well together due to the structure of color schemes.

Historical Fiction Author Event, Princeton Public Library

Pam Jenoff in Conversation with Lisa Scottoline - 

This evening of historical fiction features two bestselling authors discussing their latest novels, one set in Poland during World War II and the other in Italy during the era leading up to it. Pam Jenoff's latest novel, “The Woman with the Blue Star,” is a riveting tale of courage and unlikely friendship. She will be joined in conversation by Lisa Scottoline whose latest novel, "Eternal," is a tale of loyalty and loss, family and food, love and war.
