Hopewell Farmer’s Market

Fairgrown Farm hosts the Hopewell Farmer’s Market in Hopewell every Sunday starting May 9th through late November. Along with all of Fairgrown’s fresh produce, there is a variety of vendors selling everything from grass-fed beef to beautiful bouquets. Come join us!

Free Vegetarian Meal Distribution, Princeton Bhakti Vedanta Institute

Princeton Bhakti Vedanta Institute of Spiritual Culture and Science will be distributing free vegetarian lunches at the Princeton YMCA from 1:00-3:00 on Sunday June 27. We will be under the big red tent.

Art Opening & Reception, Ellarslie Museum

The Ellarslie Open will return to the Trenton City Museum June 26 with its largest exhibition to date. Sidelined in 2020 by the pandemic, the Museum's annual juried show will fill five galleries with 137 artworks of varying styles in categories from paintings and sculpture to digital and fiber arts.

The Ellarslie Open goes on view Saturday, June 26, with a VIP Opening Day Reception from 1 to 5 p.m. (prizes announced at 4 p.m.) and a public reception June 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. Both events will take place on the grounds of the Museum's Ellarslie Mansion in Cadwalader Park. It will remain on view in person and online through October 3, 2021, with related artist and curator talks to be announced in the summer and early fall.

Gardening with Native Plants, Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve

Learn how to Select and care for Native Plants in Your Garden and Yard. Along with beautifying your property, native plants provide food and other crucial support services for native birds, butterflies, and bees — and they require less maintenance than many common garden plants. This outdoor workshop includes a presentation by Judith K. Robinson, along with a short walk to the Louise Sayen Meadow of Native Plants. Native plants will be available for sale, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting the Friends of Princeton Open Space.
