The popular West Windsor Farmers Market winter season begins December 5th and runs every first and third Saturday until the end of April.
MarketFair’s outdoor lot looks to be a wonderful setting for some of the finest New Jersey’s farms and vendors. Market hours 10am-1pm with plenty of free parking. As with the summer/fall markets, organizers are creating a safe and comfortable shopping experience for area residents including a mask/face covering requirement for everyone on site, hand washing/sanitation stations, and pre-ordering options.
MarketFair is located at 3535 US-1 in West Windsor/Princeton. The outdoor market series will be held on the Meadow Road side of the mall’s parking lot.

Looking for a fun family event that celebrates spring? Hop on over to Terhune Orchards on April 3rd and 4th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for Bunny Chase. With fresh open air of the farm, enjoy the arrival of Spring this Easter weekend.
The Bunny Chase is a non-competitive event perfect for children 2-10 years old especially, but enjoyable for all ages. Follow hand-drawn clues around the farm in a self-guided treasure hunt. At the end of the hunt, children can choose to do bunny themed craft activities and meet Terhune’s own real bunny rabbits ($5 charge for activities and barn area).

The Easter Bunny rides a fire truck through every ward, ending at 1 p.m. at Cadwalader Park for socially distanced fun where children can receive a treat from the “bunny patrol.” The Bunny’s travel route through the city begins at Fire Headquarters on Perry Street and proceed to MLK Jr. Boulevard, Clinton Avenue, Hamilton Avenue, Broad Street, Pennington Avenue, Stuyvesant Avenue, and Hillvista Boulevard, among others, before reaching the park.

Children PreK-5th Grade are invited to a virtual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, 2:00 to 3:15 pm. A variety of activities will be offered that focus on the symbols of Easter. We will have crafts, music with Mr. Tom Shelton, and a special guest may “hop” in to say hello. Siblings are welcome to join the fun! Register today to receive details about picking up your child's special Easter basket.
The Zoom link will be shared with registrants the day before the event. Please 'order' a free ticket for each child to ensure that each child gets their own Easter basket.

Stop by the Hightstown Branch during Spring Break for a Spring Family Scavenger Hunt in the park in front of the library. Search for clues and solve riddles to find the secret code. Once you solve the tenth riddle, you will receive a prize! Parents/guardians are encouraged to play along too! Suggested for ages 5-10, but open to all. This is a drop-in event, no registration required. We will be providing a safe environment by strictly adhering to social distancing guidelines.
Please note the following: Adults and children over age 2 must wear masks during the program. Please maintain social distancing of 6 feet from other patrons/family units during the program. Restrooms inside the library will be available as the building's capacity limit allows. If the building's capacity is reached, patrons will need to wait to enter the building & use the restroom. Keyboardist/Vocalist Cliff Starkey and Craig Thatcher have been performing together since the early 2000's,, beginning when they both toured and recorded with Nina Simone's daughter, Lisa “Simone” Kelly. Since that time, Craig and Cliff have developed a very unique performing relationship onstage, as they trade songs back and forth, in a very relaxed and enjoyable manner, covering many different musical genres from blues, soul, R&B, rock and folk, along with a generous portion of Craig's original compositions.
