Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Event

The Mercer County Improvement Authority is sponsoring a household hazardous waste collection and electronics recycling event on Saturday, March 27, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Mercer County residents can bring materials to the Dempster Fire School located at 350 Lawrence Station Road in Lawrence Township. Cooking & Booking with the Easter Bunny

Attendees will enjoy a cooking demonstration with Chef Janet of JADE Grill & Cafe in Hamilton, story time with Patti McDougall, featuring "How to Catch the Easter Bunny" by Adam Wallace...and an appearance by The Easter Bunny!

Hosted in partnership with the RWJUH Hamilton Foundation, proceeds will benefit the Community Impact Alliance (CIA) of RWJUH Hamilton, which supports RWJUH Hamilton and its community.

Grab N Go Mobile Food Pantry at YWCA Princeton

On Saturday, March 27th, the Arm in Arm mobile food pantry will be at the YWCA Princeton parking lot (59 Paul Robeson Place) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Pre-packaged food bags will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Food distribution will take place outside, and masks will be worn by all volunteers, staff, and community members.

7th Annual HiTOPS Trans Youth Forum - Virtual and FREE

The 7th Annual HiTOPS Trans Youth Forum, a day-long celebration created BY and FOR trans and nonbinary youth, is happening on March 27th! This year the Forum is virtual and FREE to all participants. We anticipate this year's forum will be attended by hundreds of young people, their families, and the professionals who support them. The 2021 Forum includes nationally celebrated speakers, video highlights of trans and nonbinary youth, and a raffle.

Watercolors at the Watershed - The Watershed

Join Watershed Educator Yesenia Feliciano and explore the beauty of the Watershed Reserve as it transitions from winter to early spring using watercolors! Learn how to use simple watercolor paints and create art from what you observe. This event includes a short hike and time for painting the scenery. Painting materials will be provided. Ages 7 and up. Masks, social distancing, and adult attendance required. Discount available for members.

Trenton Circus Squad "Get On Down!" Fundraiser 2021

On March 27, 2021, at 7:00 pm Trenton Circus Squad will present its 3rd Annual "Get On Down!" Fundraiser titled Be the Change. This fundraising event will take place virtually however and wherever you can log on and enjoy the experience. Trenton Circus Squad performers are youth ages 12-18 from Trenton and the surrounding Mercer County area.

The "Get On Down!" fundraiser presented by Trenton Circus Squad will feature an all-Squad virtual performance to raise money for our general operating costs. Contributions will allow Trenton Circus Squad to keep the program open and FREE to all youth, ages 6-18. Before COVID-19, Trenton Circus Squad hosted over 200 workshops and 12 performances at the Roebling Wire Works building each year, entertaining over 2,000 local children and families. "Get On Down!" is an opportunity for the Squad to expand their creativity and introduce new and innovative ways of presenting challenging, entertaining, and now, socially conscious circus arts performances.
