Through quick conversations, a few moments of grace, and the help of their sassy friend Deja, both Tino and Bernadette learn about the strength hiding within themselves and what it means to truly care for another. Academic Pressures and Mental Health Among Immigrant Families, NAMI New Jersey

Stereotypes and stigma surrounding academic accomplishments is common amongst immigrant families. Join the conversation and learn about the academic pressures that our youth face. Panelists are Diana Chao, a 22-year-old first-generation Chinese-American immigrant from southern California who founded Letters to Strangers (L2S) when she was a sophomore in high school after bipolar disorder nearly ended her life; and Pawan Dhingra, Ph.D., professor of American Studies and Faculty Equity and Inclusion Officer at Amherst College. 


Amazing African American Women, Princeton Public Library

Museums in Motion‘s Kayren Carter Mjumbe presents the lives and accomplishments of amazing African American women, both past and present. From fugitive slaves to skilled aviators, these women have made important and notable contributions. This presentation will explore the lives of African Bessie Coleman, Yara Shahidi, Simone Biles and Ellen Craft, among others.

Designed for children in third grade and older, this program will be presented via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants on the day of the program. Program limited to 30.

Virtual Tour: Art and Science Highlights, Princeton University Art Museum

A Rodin in Madison The Discovery of a Masterpiece, Princeton Public Library

Mallory Mortillaro, Curator of Collections for the Hartley Dodge Foundation in Madison, N.J., shares the story of uncovering a Rodin masterpiece.

While Mortillaro was cataloging the artwork housed inside of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, she uncovered a masterpiece that had been lost to the art world since the 1930s. After a year of research, the piece was authenticated as an official work by Auguste Rodin. Mortillaro will share the story of how a simple art cataloging project evolved into a search for a mysterious piece’s provenance, and became one of the biggest art finds in recent history.
