Maple Sugaring, Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park

This event is a participatory demonstration in the procedures of home maple sugar production. Advanced registration required.

Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, New Jersey. Programs this winter are offered free of charge. All programs will require advanced registration so that we can manage social distancing. Face coverings are required at all these events. Attendance is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.


Annual United in Song Concert, Princeton Girlchoir

The Princeton Girlchoir’s (PGC) annual United in Song concert will take place on Sunday, March 21, 2021, with a premier performance at 3:00pm and an encore performance at 7:00. Both performances will be streamed on Westrick Music Academy’s YouTube channel. In lieu of tickets, there is a suggested donation of $10, but any amount is appreciated.

This special concert is a once-a-year opportunity to see all seven choirs of Princeton Girlchoir united through music. United in Song will be led by PGC Artist Director Dr. Lynnel Joy Jenkins. With the guidance of Stage Director, Matt DiCarlo, our singers have crafted a unique story of what it means to be “United in Song”, which will be narrated by special guest, PGC Alumna and Broadway star Eryn LeCroy. The program includes pieces performed by each choir and culminates in a joint performance of Benjamin Britten’s “A New Year Carol” by the combined choirs.

The Diary of Anne Frank, Music Mountain Theatre

Music Mountain Theatre will continue their 2021 season with The Diary of Anne Frank running March 5 - 21. The Theatre will continue at 35% indoor capacity while also offering the options to stream at home. For the safety of patrons, The Theatre blocks off seats to allow for social distancing between groups.

The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most famous and haunting stories to emerge from the 20th Century. The memoirs of this young Jewish girl, forced to hide for nearly two years to escape Nazi persecution, are an essential part of how we remember one of the darkest periods of our human history.

The Theatre strives to provide a safe environment for all with rigorous cleaning procedures and more recently, the installation of state-of-the-art air scrubbers to increase indoor air quality and reduce contaminants. WestminsterConservatory Virtual Faculty Recital "AloneTogether"

On Sunday, March 21 at 3 p.m. Westminster Conservatory will release a virtual faculty recital on the Conservatory's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/westminsterconservatory . The recital will be posted under the heading Westminster Conservatory Presents and will remain on the page after March 21. The recital, titled Alone Together, features primarily works for solo instrument, reflecting the isolation currently experienced by most musicians.

Bach's Birthday Celebration, The Dryden Ensemble

The Dryden Ensemble will celebrate Bach's birthday by streaming its 2020 performance of Bach's St. John Passion on beginning on Sunday, March 21 at 3 pm. This program is a streaming of the recording of the live concert performance on Friday, March 13, 2020 as the world was shutting down. "Thank you, Dryden Ensemble for bringing this gorgeous piece of music by J.S. Bach to life at the start of the pandemic and again at what one hopes is the beginning of the end!" states John Baker, acclaimed recording engineer and founder of Affetto Records.

The video of Bach's St. John Passion will be released on Sunday, March 21 at 3 pm and from March 22 it may be viewed on demand. For details, drydenensemble.org.
