In Person Open House, The Bridge Academy

Open Houses are held monthly for parents and professionals who wish to obtain more information regarding The Bridge Academy for a possible placement or referral for a child. Information will be presented regarding The Bridge Academy curriculum, the admissions process, a tour of the school, as well as the opportunity to ask questions.

Small Biz Networking Meetup

Our 11 YEAR young Small Biz Networking Meetup will be meeting at Al Fresco’s Restaurant, located at Shoppes at Flemington, with a great 3 course lunch for $19. We are proud to have a membership of over 570 members, and at our Meetups we do networking for the first half hour, our members get to speak and tell us about their services, then the Guest speaker goes on. Our MARCH Guest Speaker, is Lee Roth, Esquire, his professional career includes saving Sky Manor Airport, being the lawyer for four different municipalities, being a member of the Board of Directors of several banks, representing developers who created Flemington South Estate, Concord Ridge, Stonegate, South Main Street Village, Coppermine Village and a number of other projects that have provided more than 2,000 housing units for many people in our area.

Calling all coffee lovers! Join us on Tuesday, March 16 to learn everything you need to know about coffee and brewing the perfect cup. Registration includes the virtual webinar, with the option to add a bag of Small World's delicious coffee and a handmade mug from the ACP Ceramics Studio! All proceeds benefit the Arts Council's community programs, helping us close the fiscal gap created by COVID.


Historically Speaking: A Women’s History With Ruth E. Carter, National Museum of African American Black History & Culture

Spotlighting the amazing breadth of her work, renowned costume designer Ruth E. Carter discusses her sartorial and visual aesthetic in films—among them Do the Right Thing, Black Panther and Coming 2 America. From Brooklyn to Wakanda and Zumanda, Carter will describe what drives her personal inspiration, creativity and vision in in a special conversation moderated by Robin Givhan, the Washington Post’s senior critic-at-large. Admission is free; however, registration is recommended.
