Virtual Fundraiser to Benefit Covid-19 Rent Relief, Princeton Community Housing

Princeton Community Housing to Hold Virtual Fundraiser to benefit the organization’s Covid-19 Rent Relief with Keynote Speaker Eddie S. Glaude Jr.

Professor Dr. Eddie S. Glaude Jr. will speak about his latest book, New York Times Bestseller, Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own at Princeton Com-munity Housing’s (PCH) virtual fundraiser on February 24, 2021, at 7 pm. The fundraising event will will include a lecture by Dr. Glaude and a question and answer session moderated by Rev. Lukata Mjumbe of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, a trus-tee of PCH. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions before the event.

Funds raised will go to PCH’s Covid-19 Rent Relief Fund for PCH residents who have been dispro-portionately impacted by the pandemic. General admission will cost $50. Student tickets will cost $25. For $85, registrants for the event will also receive a signed copy of Begin Again. Do-nations can also be made in support of the event and PCH’s Covid-19 Rent Relief Fund. Join Ed and Lori Simon as they “show and tell” about their favorite National Park experiences. Learn why each of our National Parks is unique. Gain appreciation for their inspiring beauty. Hear travel tips these experienced explorers will offer to enhance your visit for a fabulous vacation to one of these majestic locations. Ed and Lori Simon have been members of TJC for the last 31 years. They have each served on the Board and have been involved in many TJC committees and activities during these years. They share a love of nature and of travel. In 2015 they began to explore the National Parks. Between them they visited 33 National Parks and over 100 other National Monuments, Lakeshores and State Parks throughout all 50 states.

OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY -  For security reasons, Registration is required for all programs. We cannot accept late registrations.
