Princeton Farmers' Market Winter Market

The Princeton Farmers' Market is happy to announce that our Winter Market Series kicks off this Thursday, December 3rd. We will be staying put at our temporary outdoor location on Franklin Ave, providing ample space for social distancing. Markets will operate 10am - 2pm on select dates. Market dates are posted on our website calendar and can be viewed at www.princetonfarmersmarket.com/calendar .

The market is authorized to accept SNAP/EBT cards and matches up to $10 on SNAP transactions, per eligible customer, per day. Those eligible for SNAP benefits can learn more by emailing princetonfarmersmarketnj@gmail.com

With Covid numbers rising we are requiring all shoppers to wear masks at all times and practice social distancing while waiting in lines. Mindful Movement, Princeton Health Community Wellness

This rejuvenating class combines gentle exercises with yogic breathing, guided imagery, and meditation. The low-impact program provides patients who are undergoing cancer treatment with an effective workout for the body and the mind, helping them reduce stress and focus on taking care of themselves.

Music from Norway, Westminster Conservatory at Nassau

The next virtual Westminster Conservatory at Nassau recital will be released at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, January 21 as a video embedded in the Nassau Presbyterian Church website (http://www.nassauchurch.org/westminster-conservatory-recitals/). Husband and wife team Danielle Sinclair, soprano, and Michael Jacobsen, piano will perform songs of Edvard Grieg and piano settings of traditional Norwegian folk songs and dance music.

A new Westminster Conservatory at Nassau video will be available on the church website at 12:15 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and remain available for viewing. The artist on February 18 will be Marvin Rosen, piano.

Afternoon Aerobic Hike, Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park

Join us for 2-3.5 mi. brisk guided hikes on selected trails in the state park. Routes to be determined. Advanced registration required. Bring a water bottle and wear hiking shoes. The trails are quite wet in sections. Weather permitting. Pre-teen - adult. 

Face coverings are required at all these events. Attendance is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Girl Code, Princeton Public Library

3:30 - Girl Code, Beginner Level

Self-identifying girls are invited to drop in for an hour of coding class exploring the programming language Python. In these beginner sessions, a core concept will be covered along with an exercise to put new skills to the test. No coding experience necessary. Intended for grades 4 to 8, but exceptions for kids and teens in other grades may be made. Sign up to receive access to the Zoom class as well as updates here.
