Washington Crossing Audubon Society Presents "Impacts of Deer and Invasive plant Species on Forest Understories in New Jersey," an on-line presentation by Jay F. Kelly.  Dr. Jay F. Kelly, Associate Professor of Biology and Environmental Science at Raritan Valley Community College, will discuss his research on the impact of overabundant deer and invasive plant species since the mid-twentieth Century on 250 forests in central-northern NJ and the effectiveness of different tools for forest restoration. The goals of this research are to provide real-world research opportunities for students and to equip local communities with information needed to understand these important issues and what can be done to address them.

This is a free, virtual event. To register, please email contact.wcas@gmail.com to receive a link to Zoom Meeting with access code. Space is limited to the first 100 registrants, and the meeting will begin at 8 PM.
