Pennington Farmers Market

The Pennington Farmers Market is open Saturdays 9-1, June-November on the lawn at Rosedale Mills (101 Route 31 North in Hopewell Township). The Market provides growers and producers within 50 miles of Pennington, N.J., an opportunity to sell directly to the public, while promoting the nutritional, environmental, and community health benefits of sustainable living.

This year you will find 4 local farms represented, plus a bakery and a sauce-maker. Products for sale include: organic vegetables, grass-fed beef and other meat, eggs, wine, herbs, wool, honey, specialty sauces, maple syrup, bread & pastries. Lawrence Hopewell Trail Saturday Morning Walking Club

A windy, forested trail, the bridge over a babbling brook and the Whiskey House, the 19th Century applejack distillery office, are all features along the next Lawrence Hopewell Trail Saturday Morning Walking Club trek, scheduled for November 14.

Walkers will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Mount Rose Preserve parking lot at 355 Carter Road, Hopewell Township, off the west side of Carter Road (see details below) and will walk through the Mount Rose Distillery segment of the LHT. The two-mile round-trip walk through the woods continues off-road next to Pennington Rocky Hill Road. Hikers will walk past the Whiskey House and on to Bailey Court, where they will turn around and head back to the Carter Road parking lot .

Sauce for the Goose Outdoor Art Market, Princeton Shopping Center

Kick off your holiday shopping at the Arts Council of Princeton's Sauce for the Goose Outdoor Art Market on November 14 from 10am-4pm at the Princeton Shopping Center, 301 N. Harrison St, Princeton. Celebrating its 27th year, Sauce for the Goose offers shoppers the unique opportunity to purchase handmade pieces directly from 25 local artisans and crafters working in ceramics, textiles, jewelry, fine art, and more.

In addition to selling their art, vendors will also be at work demonstrating their talents for visitors to observe their process, and powerhouse vocalist and local favorite ESSIE will be performing in the courtyard from 12-3pm.

Art lovers will be able to explore handcrafted items by local artisans in the areas of apothecary, ceramics/potter, fiber/textile, glass items, jewelry, journals/note cards, and more. The juried show features almost 50 artists with work priced at $400 or less.

The Holiday Market takes place on three Saturdays in November 2020: November 7, November 14, and November 21. Selected items will be open to the public on these days from 10 am to 4 pm.
