“What is Working? What Challenges are you Facing? Share Solutions!” Princeton Community Works

Princeton Community Works is an all-volunteer organization committed to serving the greater Mercer area by providing nonprofits and volunteers the opportunity to connect, build skills, and raise awareness. To respond to the current situation, we are launching a series of online discussions, called Community Conversations, to bring together the nonprofit community.

Our multiple sessions, which are free of charge, are offered at different days/times, so individuals can select a time that works for them.

NAMI Mercer's Harvest of Hope with Guest Speaker Mariel Hemingway

We hope you will join us for NAMI Mercer's annual Harvest of Hope Wellness Conference. Though we are hosting the conference ONLINE this year, our goals remain the same. We seek to promote well-being, raise awareness about mental health challenges, and transform the way people view mental illness in order to foster more inclusive communities where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.

The keynote presentation, Creating Mental Harmony in Times of Uncertainty, will be delivered by actress, author, and mental health advocate Mariel Hemingway on Monday evening, October 5th at 7:00 pm.

Princeton's Gargoyles and Grotesques, Historical Society of Princeton

Princeton University's gargoyles can be found perched on Gothic arches and towers. Most are not true downspouts, but decorative designs ranging from historic, to symbolic, to just plain fun. In this virtual tour, you'll get a bird's eye view of many of the stone creatures adorning the campus. Presented by Eve Mandel, Director of Programs and Visitor Services at the Historical Society of Princeton.
