COVID-19, Youth of Color, and Suicide Risk Indicators - Webinar

The Mercer County Division of Mental Health, in partnership with the NJ State Disaster and Terrorism Branch, NJ Hope and Healing, and the State Traumatic Loss Coalition, is pleased to present "COVID-19, Youth of Color, and Suicide Risk Indicators." This 90-minute presentation will address the impact of systemic injustices on risk factors for suicide in youth of color and will include topics such as trauma associated with structural racism, generational poverty, and disparities related to COVID-19 that youth of color have endured.

County Executive Brian M. Hughes announces our One-Stop Career Center's first Drive-Thru Job Fair! On Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, job seekers can connect with more than 40 potential employers who are actively looking for new employees.

Careers Without College Webinar, Princeton Learning Cooperative

While college is necessary for many jobs, there are countless opportunities for meaningful, satisfying careers for young people who don’t attend college. The Learning Cooperatives is hosting an online panel discussion and community conversation about the kinds of careers young people can pursue without a college degree.

A group of panelists will discuss various paths available through trade schools, apprenticeship opportunities, direct work experience and entrepreneurial endeavors. Question and answer to follow.
