Join us for the Dedication Ceremony for our Community Art Project – Art Against Racism: Memorial.Monument.Movement
We will view the installation of the community art project and hear from some of its organizers. Creators of squares will also be invited to speak. This event will also be shared Live on the WWAC Facebook page for remote participation. The West Windsor Arts Council and the African American Parent Support Group invited the greater West Windsor and Plainsboro community to participate in a community art project. No art experience was necessary to be a part of this effort to mark the West Windsor Arts Center as an anti-racist institution and to create community conversation. We created this project with the belief that everyone has a seat at the table and everyone’s voice is important!
COVID-19 precautions: Face masks are required and social distancing will be in place. This event is being held outdoors. Sign-in will be encouraged.
