LifeTies, located in Ewing, NJ, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to nurture wellness and self-sufficiency in vulnerable youth, young adults and their families. It is our vision that every youth and young adult can enjoy life's possibilities and have the resources to be healthy, connected and contributing members of their communities. Unfortunately the mental health challenges our youth deal with are being exacerbated by this global health crisis and we need the support of volunteers now more than ever.

Outdoor Sukkot Service, Beth El Synagogue

On Friday, October 2, 2020, celebrate Sukkot outside at Beth El Synagogue. Services begin at 5:30 p.m. Please bring your own chair and mask. In accordance with NJ Covid-19 guidelines, please wear a mask and maintain proper social distance In the event of inclement weather, services with limited seating will be held at 5:30 p.m. and require sign up prior to the date by calling the Synagogue office.

DRIVE-IN THEATER: Ghostbusters

Pack up your blankets and chairs for a movie under the stars Grandparents Grove. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Ghostbusters will be the featured film for the Drive-in Movie Night. Doors for the movie will open at 6:30 pm. The movie will begin at approximately 7:30 pm. after sunset.

Parking lots will be closed once capacity is reached. Each parking space will have a designated area for one vehicle and lounging area to the side - masks will be required once leaving designated area. Social distancing measures are in place for guests safety. Visitors are welcomed to pack coolers with food and beverages. No liquor or glass bottles will be permitted. Parking and admission are FREE for this event.

Full Moon Bike Hike, Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park

Take a guided night time bicycle ride, by the light of the Harvest Moon, up the Delaware & Raritan Canal Towpath toward the Lambertville wing dam (approx. 13 miles round trip). Meet at the Nelson House parking lot. Bring your own bike, bike light and helmet. Advanced registration required. Call the Nature Center for directions. Free.
