2nd Annual Trenton River Days
Join us for the 2nd annual Trenton River Days, revised this year as a walk-through event that celebrates the history, culture and recreational benefits of the Delaware River. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 12, local families and community members are invited to South Riverwalk Park near the Trenton Thunder Stadium to enjoy the walk-through festivities. The first 500 children will receive a take-home Watershed activity kit that includes a small colorful pail, a watercolor paint set, and a mobile featuring fish, crayfish, river otter and a bald eagle - animals that live in and around the Delaware River - to cut out and paint. The event will also feature free boxed lunches, farm-fresh produce, and COVID-19 prevention supplies. Face masks are required and social distancing standards must be followed. Trenton River Days is a partnership of The Watershed Institute, Abbot Marshlands, The Alliance for Watershed Education of the Delaware River, D&R Greenway, Mercer County, Mercer County Parks Commission and the City of Trenton.
