Preschool Virtual Nature Classes, The Watershed

Connect with Watershed Educators Samantha Bernstein and Alison Novobilsky and other students in weekly preschool classes that include crafts, outdoor exploration, and interactive games. This live session will enable children to learn, share their ideas, and interact with us and each other. Charge: $5 per registration.

SPEAK UP FOR A CHILD! Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Mercer & Burlington Counties is currently seeking new volunteers! Experts point out that children are more at risk for abuse and neglect amid this pandemic. CASA for Children of Mercer & Burlington Counties is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers who speak up in Family Court for the best interests of children that have been removed from their families due to abuse and/or neglect and placed in the foster care system. Our volunteers strive to ensure the physical, emotional, and educational well being of these children.

Chess Club - Beginners, Princeton Public Library

This four-week program is intended for children ages 5 and older who want to learn to play chess as well as improve their skills.

The sessions will be led by Vinay and Varun Rao, rising seniors at Princeton Day School. Instruction will be provided, and there will be opportunity for children to play in matches. Those who register are asked to attend all four weeks. Please sign up for a free account at chess.com before the start of the first session. All who are confirmed for registration will receive a link via email for entry to the sessions online.
