HiTOPS Annual Trans Youth Forum (Virtual and Free)

The 6th Annual HiTOPS Trans Youth Forum, the only forum of its kind created by and for trans and nonbinary youth, is thrilled to announce an amazing line-up of inspirational transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive guests that will be a part of this year’s June 6, 2020 event. For the first time in its history, the Forum will be held virtually and is free to all young people who want to participate!

Free Emergency Farm Market in Lambertville

The City of Lambertville, in partnership with the local American Legion, Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, Zone 7 and the North East American Dairy Association, will host an Emergency Free Farm Market this Saturday, June 6th from 12 pm – 2 pm. The market will be held at the American Legion located at 320 North Union Street in Lambertville, NJ.

Anyone temporarily struggling to take care of their family's needs is invited to attend and receive a box of healthy and delicious fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy while supplies last. Social distancing and safety procedures will be practiced by everyone participating in the event. Contactless trunk pickup will be available as well as a safe walk-up option. No registration or ID is required.

Virtual Rain Barrel Workshop, The Watershed

Polluted stormwater runoff taints our local streams, rivers and lakes. Help improve the health of our water by building a rain barrel in a socially distanced way! Participants will pick up all the materials needed to build a rain barrel outside of The Watershed Institute then follow along a live streaming video while you build your rain barrel with Sarah McCabe, this year's Americorp Ambassador at the Watershed. Sarah will be live on June 6 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. to demonstrate and answer your questions. You can also watch a recording of the video afterwards.


CANCELLED - Trenton Circus Squad "Get On Down" Fundraiser 2020

June 6, 2020, at 6:00pm Trenton Circus Squad will present its 2nd Annual "Get On Down!" Fundraiser at the historic Roebling Wire Works Building, 675 S. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08611. Trenton Circus Squad performers are youth ages 12-18 from Trenton and the surrounding Mercer County area.

The "Get On Down!" Fundraiser presented by Trenton Circus Squad will present an all Squad and staff performance to raise money general operating costs. Contributions will allow Trenton Circus Squad to keep the program open and FREE to all youth ages 6-18. Each year Trenton Circus Squad hosts over 200 workshops and 12 performances at the Roebling Wire Works building, entertaining over 2,000 local children and families. "Get On Down!" is an opportunity for the Squad to expand their creativity and introduce new and innovative ways of presenting challenging and entertaining circus arts. We are inviting patrons to participate by purchasing a ticket to what is sure to be a fun-filled awe-inspiring extravaganza!
