Virtual Author Conversation - Suzie Gilbert and Kim Doner, Princeton Public Library
Fifteen years ago, Suzie Gilbert and Kim Doner met in an online forum for licensed caregivers of injured and orphaned wildlife. It turned out both were writers, as well. They've stayed in touch ever since, swapping stories about their lives and work. Gilbert lives in New York’s Hudson Valley. Her debut novel is “Unflappable.” She is the author of the memoir “Flyaway: How a Wild Bird Rehabber Sought Adventure” and an illustrated children’s book, “Hawk Hill.” Doner lives in Tulsa and is the author and/or illustrator of over a dozen award-winning children’s books, including “Buffalo Dreams” and “On A Road in Africa.” She also illustrated novellas for P.C.
