FREE Virtual Support Webinar - Transforming our Negative Narrator in Times of Stress

Tuesday April 7, 2020

"Transforming our Negative Narrator in Times of Stress"

Frank Picone, Chief Training Officer for The CTARI Institute, will address how the voice we listen to the most is the one that talks to us in our head--the inner voice. Our inner voice can be compassionate or critical to us. This critical inner voice has a significant negative impact on our mood, our relationships, and our ability to be resilient. This webinar will provide tips on how to transform your negative narrator and move from a fixed to a growth mindset during these stressful times.

VIRTUAL Wandering Book Club Launch, Princeton Public Library

Tuesday April 7, 2020
7:00 PM

The Princeton Public Library announces the launch of its Wandering Book Club, a dedicated space where people in the greater Princeton area in their 20s and 30s can share and discuss books and other media. The group is led by librarians Morgan Taylor and Nora Walsh.

The group plans to wander every month to a different spot in Princeton – including restaurants, coffee shops, and the Library itself – to discuss a predetermined book, genre, or format. Since the Library is currently unable to set up a group meeting in person, the group will launch virtually. The discussion will be hosted on Discord, an online community. Once you’ve accepted the invitation to join, you can create a free account.

The first official meeting will be Tuesday, April 7 at 7 pm to discuss The Island of Doctor Moreau (available through Libby with your library card), but new members can join at any time for general book talk.
