Fixing Bugs in Democracy: Gerrymandering. Journalist and bestselling author David Daley will appear in a virtual town hall with Professor Sam Wang. Dave has spent years raising the alarm about partisan gerrymandering and its threat to democracy. Now he's exploring how we can fight for change in his new book, "Unrigged: How Americans are Battling Back to Save Democracy." Hear about how fair redistricting is the key to any real political change and what you can and should do about it.

Virtual Author Talk: Marta McDowell: “Emily Dickinson’s Gardening Life”, Princeton Public Library

Author Marta McDowell will share a selection of Dickinson's poems and a few stories and images from the poet's garden. McDowell lives, gardens, and writes in Chatham, New Jersey. She consults for public gardens and private clients, writes and lectures on gardening topics, and teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden, where she studied landscape design. She was the 2018 Gardener-in-Residence at the Emily Dickinson Museum. Presented in partnership with Labyrinth Books.

On Friday, April 17 at 8:00pm and Sunday, April 19 at 3:00pm, Boheme Opera NJ will highlight its 31st Anniversary Season with a fully staged imaginative production of one of opera’s most controversial and well-known masterpieces: Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto. Performances will take place at Kendall Main Stage Theater on the campus of The College of New Jersey, 2000 Pennington Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628.

If live opera is on your bucket list, don’t miss Boheme Opera’s production of Giuseppe Verdi’s RIGOLETTO. There are pre-curtain talks in the theater one hour prior to performances. The opera will be sung in Italian with projected English supertitles. Kendall Main Stage Theater is handicap accessible, and a campus special needs shuttle will be provided.
