Paint and Sip in the CBar

Mercer County Bar Association Free Legal Clinic

Author Event, Sourland Conservancy & Watershed Institute

The public is invited to a very special evening with Mr. Amon at the Watershed Institute. Guests will enjoy a screening of the short film, The Sourlands a New Jersey Treasure, which recently debuted at the Princeton Environmental Film Festival. Mr. Amon will then read selections from his popular new book, Seeing the Sourlands, and answer questions from the audience.

The Watershed Institute and the Sourland Conservancy invite the public to enjoy a special visual evening of film, stories, and community on March 24th at 7 PM at The Watershed Institute (31 Titus Mill Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534). The film The Sourlands a New Jersey Treasure will be screened followed by a talk by author/naturalist Amon. Books will be available for purchase at the event or online at www.sourland.org.

Art Talk, Princeton Public Library

Princeton-based eco-artists, Mary Waltham and Susan Hoenig discuss “Wetland to Woodland,” the exhibition of their recent works on view on the library’s second floor March 1 through May 30. The exhibit asks viewers to consider afresh these two distinctly different but interrelated ecosystems, each of which combats climate change. The artists present works reflecting a connection to, and inspiration from, wetland and woodland respectively, using a range of visual media and methods.
