Adam Ezra Group, Hopewell Theater

Friday March 6, 2020
8:00 PM

It’s difficult to impart the roots-steeped, road-trippin' essence of the Adam Ezra Group into a single word, but frontman Adam Ezra nonetheless keeps one in mind as something of a mantra: community. Talk to any Adam Ezra Group fan around the country and they’ll tell you that each AEG performance is a one-of-a-kind, community-driven experience, propelled by the spirit of the people in front of the stage. For both fans and band members alike, an AEG concert is a rally to live life with intensity and soak in the moments we share with one another. Hailing from Boston, AEG’s unconventional approach to the music world has allowed them to surge beyond their beloved hometown and emerge as one of the most uniquely powerful, underground live music experiences in the country.

5 S. Greenwood Ave., Hopewell, NJ 08525

The Grateful Dead Tribute Concert - Kelsey Theater, Mercer Community College

Friday March 6, 2020

Calling all Deadheads young and old! The Reock & Roll Revue returns to Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey stage March 6-8 for a psychedelic, tie-dyed weekend of performances with the band's newest show "The Grateful Dead: The Studio Recordings 1967-1977."

Three Days. Three Albums. One Weekend. For the first time ever, Reock & Roll Revue will bring to life the Grateful Dead's musical energy. The band will journey through the first ten years of the Dead's studio recordings then recreate the music from a different Grateful Dead album each night as originally recorded on vinyl. The performance will also feature a video compilation of Reock & Roll Revue shows.

Friday night, March 6. Reock & Roll Revue kicks off the series with the Grateful Dead's fourth studio album, "Workingman's Dead." Recorded in 1970, the album employs an Americana-styled songcraft and includes mainstays such as "Uncle John's Band," "Casey Jones," "High Time" and "Cumberland Blues."
