Preserving the Local Harvest Saturday, February 15th -- 2:00 - 4:00pm at The Suppers Kitchen -- Cost: $50 Workshop to learn how to preserve the bountiful harvest from our local farms & land, led by Master Food Preserver Kim Rizk, Co-Founder & Owner of Jammin' Crepes! In this hands-on workshop you will learn fun and fast ways to preserve the local winter harvest. Kim Rizk completed her Master Food Preserver certification from Cornell's Agricultural Cooperative Extension and will introduce you to preserving techniques that range from lacto-fermentation and quick-pickling to hot water bath canning.
