Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 9 for a free, public birding trip led by Brad Merritt and Andrew Bobe at Sandy Hook National Park. Sandy Hook is a prime spot for birding and a great way to learn more about shore birds. Open to all level of birding expertise, there will be opportunities to see raptors, marsh birds and migratory songbirds along the Jersey shore.

Please join us for our monthly walk along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail. Our November outing will begin near Main Street in Lawrenceville and head south on the LHT through the historic and scenic Lawrenceville School campus. We'll cross Lewisville Road and continue along the edge of the BMS Princeton Pike campus to the Brearley Oak, the largest Black Oak tree in New Jersey. We'll retrace our steps back to Lawrenceville, for a round-trip total of 3.2 miles.
Once back to Main Street, we can treat ourselves to a snack at Starbucks, Gingered Peach, or WildFlour Bakery. Hope to see you on November 9 at 9:30a.m. We should be back around 11a.m. Check https://lhtrail.org/walkingclub/ around 8 a.m. that day, if there's a question about a weather impact.

Over the last decade, The Tour des Arts has become a leading cultural attraction in and for Hopewell Township and the entire region. Playing a growing role as a gatherer of diverse artists, raiser of artistic awareness and orchestrator of this popular fall weekend event for the community and visitors of all kinds from across the region, Pennsylvania and New York.
The self-guided tour lets people choose their artists and routes, and explore at their own pace. It begins at the Hopewell Train Station at 2 Railroad Place in downtown Hopewell, where they can see a sample of each artist's work, get a printed map and make their way to individual studios, galleries and workshops on the Tour in and around Hopewell Borough and Township.
The 2019 Tour des Arts features established and emerging sculptors, goldsmiths, photographers, live musicians, performance artists, wood turners, painters, filmmakers, a metallurgist and collagist, among others.
