Franklin Day Festival, Colonial Park

On Saturday, September 28th, Franklin Township Parks & Recreation will host the Township’s annual Franklin Day Festival (FDF) from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Colonial Park, Lot C in Somerset, NJ. Over 20,000 Franklin Township residents, local businesses, and artists and visitors from neighboring towns attended the festival last year!

This special event offers a day of fantastic family fun including an array of attractions along with the eclectic musical stylings of live bands on the main stage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a fan of Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock or Gospel! The FDF cultural stage will also feature instrumentalists, dancers, and singers performing music from around the world.

National Public Lands Day Work Session - Mapleton Preserve

80th Anniversary Gala - Bucks County Playhouse

The iconic entertainer, Tony Danza. and his four-piece band will perform their hit show, “Tony Danza: Standards & Stories.” Combining timeless music with wit, charm, storytelling, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances, Danza performs a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music.

Comedy Night: Ross Bennett: Comedy For The Rest Of Us, Hopewell Theater

One time West Point Cadet turned Stand-Up Comedian. Ross is from NEW YORK COUNTRY, the rural western part of New York State. His hometown is Hornell NY, or as he says "A small town just on the outskirts of a WalMart."

Our friends at The Peasant Grill will be supplying a special dinner of a Beef Shepard's Pie with a dinner roll for this performance. Kelsey Theatre and Maurer Productions Onstage, the award-winning company that delivered the laughs with Lend Me A Tenor, bring you another hilarious farce from the master of stage comedy, Ken Ludwig.

Two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA wants to leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble is, when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews, but nieces!
