Mercer County First-Time Homebuyer Program Workshop

Owning a home is a big part of the American dream, and Mercer County would like to help families achieve that dream through Mercer County First-Time Homebuyer Program workshops. The second of two workshops scheduled in 2019 will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Free Public Library, 1 Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. Way, Hamilton. Workshop participants can learn how the mortgage process works, and participating lenders will be on hand to guide applicants and provide answers. First-time homebuyers may be eligible to obtain down-payment and closing-cost assistance through the program.
